The Girl You Left Behind

Ah three months since I have picked up a historic fiction and boy does it feel good. This piece tells the tale of two main characters, Sophie and Liv. Sophie's story takes place during WW1, while Liv is in the 2000's. While I loved the power and sacrifices involved in the story with Sophie, I did not connect with Liv. As much as I was a fan of Moyes, I feel that with each read I become less and less fond. I just wish I read more reviews before purchasing this story.
